Stef Anderson

The author has had a number of careers culminating in writing for people with epilepsy; Ref. = 'Understanding Epilepsy' buy Burden & Schurr; presentations at Ayr College regarding firearms; the Sellafield Nuclear Reprocessing Plant in Cumbria and another presentation whilst working for Save & Prosper about Epilepsy - a Health Issue. Steph. has worked in the computer field, the voluntary sector and the care field supporting people to live as independently as possible applying a person- centred approach. This work led to a more focused role as an employment support worker delivering presentations to prospective employers on behalf of the disabled and the disadvantaged. Stef realised that hard work and determination has nothing to do with well controlled epilepsy (Complex Partial Seizures) because the medication and the NHS is good. Epilepsy is not contagious.
