Fireball

In the distance beyond the skies,
The earth's maternal creator lies;
Enormous heat eminates from this ball,
Saved only by a thin protective wall.

With the breakdown of the greenhouse effect,
The ozone layer we have to protect;
And to do this there has to be less pollution,
To give Mother Earth the solution.

Totally dependent of constant power,
Plants survive producing fruit & flower;
With an endless need to sustain the races,
There need be less famine in scarce places.

When the fireball shines through the wall,
It varies from cadmium yellows to a crimson ball;
And when it leaves to end another day,
There are many who wish it could stay.
