Coaching for Writers - Page 3

Create a guideline = name each chapter and stick to them; the chapters offer a guide to continue with a structure throughout the writing of your book from your accumulated notes ..

Creating a book is just like a huge jigsaw puzzle and as you succeed in certain parts of the project you then move on to the next page to complete.

Never ever give a character's first name + surname as this error can lead to litigation for you the writer and the character name. There is no harm in using anyone's forename because there are about 972 Johns in Scotland. There is another security you can use - add a Verso Page. Find the punch line and then work backwards.

I would suggest purchase a book entitled, 'Think & Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill; study 'Autosuggestion' and purchase a small notebook with a good pen.

Writing a book is like a jigsaw. Start with the corner pieces (the chapters).
Study the other middle or connecting pieces that fit the corner pieces (the chapters).
Do this as you build up the 'jigsaw' until you can then see a feasible picture being built up to
become your masterpiece.

Adding a bibliography gives you the opportunity to refer from other authors of other books which is
entirely legal.

Finally, be a writer in your own right and Good Luck!
