Amber Red Traffic Lights
by Ziggy Andrews

Crossing at the pelican lights - it seems that private car drivers have no
care & attention nor civiliy.
I know a man who has epilepsy and crossing roads at pelican lights is dangerous.
What the drivers should realise is that when they have come to a halt then
the pedestrians can cross - green man on the pelican lights.

What follows is not very safe for a man whom I know has epilepsy.

The traffic lights turn to red-amber = this is now the issue that the pedestrians
have right of way because, as the wee boy said yesterday, he was so intelligent,
'Green is go - not red-amber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

In essence, red-amber means that drivers are to show due care and attention to check
that there are no children, ladies; men nor disabled men - both physically and mentally
crossing the road - and when the 'crossing' is clear THEN the driver is allowed continue on
his/her journey.
